What water types is this kayak suitable for?
This kayak is designed for calm flatwater use — lakes, slow-moving rivers, protected bays, and coastal waters with minimal chop. It is not suitable for Class III+ whitewater rapids, open ocean swells, or tidal currents.
What PSI should I inflate to?
Main air chambers: 1.5–2.5 PSI. Drop-stitch floor sections: 10–15 PSI. Refer to the inflation guide in your manual for this specific model. Do not exceed the maximum PSI listed. Under-inflation reduces performance; over-inflation stresses seams.
Is a pump included?
Yes — a dual-action hand pump is included. For faster inflation on larger models, a compatible electric kayak pump (12V or battery) is recommended and available in our Accessories collection.
What is the weight capacity?
This kayak is rated for up to 400 lbs total — including all occupants and gear. For safe operation, stay comfortably below the maximum. Operating near capacity reduces freeboard and makes the kayak more susceptible to swamping in choppy conditions.
How long does setup take?
Approximately 15–25 minutes with the included hand pump. An electric pump reduces this to under 10 minutes. Inflate on dry land and allow the kayak to sit for 5 minutes after full inflation before checking final pressure — PVC expands slightly as it warms.
My kayak has a small leak. What do I do?
Use the repair patch kit included in the package. Inflate the kayak, apply soapy water to locate the leak, mark it, fully deflate, clean and dry the area, and apply the patch per the included instructions. Allow 24 hours to cure before re-inflating. If the leak is at a seam or valve, contact support@sportnay.com with your order number and photos.
When will my order arrive?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. US delivery takes 5–8 business days after dispatch. Free standard shipping on orders $100+. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
Can I return this after using it on water?
No — kayaks that have been inflated and used on water are not eligible for return for safety reasons, unless they arrived defective or incorrect. Uninflated items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. We recommend inflating on dry land first to confirm the kayak holds pressure before taking it on water.
Is this covered by a warranty?
Yes. All SportNay products carry a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects including seam failures and defective valves. Email support@sportnay.com with your order number and photos to make a claim.
